Visit the house of the famous Polynesian artist painter Emmanuel Masson
The gifted artist grew up painting. Her mother Rosine Temauri Masson and his famous father Jean Masson were also artists and encouraged Emmanuel to learn and find his own style.
Emmanuel paints the landscapes of his « Fenua », the beaches, the « motus », the coconut trees, the flowers and the legendary mountains using different techniques.
He and his wife Jacqueline live next to their atelier atelier located in the mountains of Faanui Valley where they sell these « pareos » painted by them to the delight of the travellers!
Located on the northwest side of the main island, the entrance to this village is an iconic Protestant church with the scenic view of the famous Mont Otemanu and Mount Pahia.
